paypal not telling me product ordered in confirmation email

I get a notification of an instant payment through paypal but it doesnt tell me the product name just a product number but the prices dont even add up, am i missing something please help i am getting orders but i dont know what to send!

Take a look in the wiki for how to setup paypal

the receipt from paypal isnt supposed to have info in it,
this is in the receipt generated by the zen cart

it seems to be setup correctly, but it is not logging the order under paypal IPN menu, nothing shows up even though I get the order to my email. any ideas?

Yes follow the directions in the wiki,
make sure that the email address you are using in the zen cart paypal module is the PRIMARY email address used at paypal.com
and is case sensitive

it wasnt my primary email.. do you think this might solve the problem with the orders not recording possibly? I read the wiki and i have followed the instructions perfectly.

yes make the email in the paypal module the primary paypal email,
case sensitive,

then in paypal refund 1 penny of the order and it should then triggger the IPN

i did that and it didnt seem to show up anywhere in the paypal ipn system on zencart... is there a way I can find his order somewhere on here?

you can try to use the master password and see if their order is still in the cart.

the order that is already there may not work sometimes it does others it dosnt,


teest this out again yourself, make sure that it works

what would the master password be? do i need to set it or is it supposed to be my admin password? my admin one didnt seem to work not sure what else it would be.
