Default UK Coupon users please read

I have been told the current coupon calculations are wrong for UK users
with settings Display Prices with Tax, Include Tax = true on Coupons.

With a $100 item, 10% off coupon, this is what your cart will show in 1.3.7:

    Sub-Total: $117.5
    Store Pickup (Walk In): $0.00
    Discount Coupon: SAVETEN : -$11.96
    VAT 17.5%: $15.75
    Total: $104.00

Like I said, I have been told these numbers are wrong. (I'm That Software Guy, not
That Tax Guy, so I have no idea if they're wrong or not.) Nevertheless,
    if you prefer these numbers:

    Sub-Total: $117.50
    Store Pickup (Walk In): $0.00
    Discount Coupon: SAVETEN : -$11.75
    FL TAX 17.5%: $15.75
    Total: $105.75

then download the zip attached and install it on your cart.
If I can get a couple of confirmations that this methodology is
compliant with UK tax rules, I will post the corresponding fix
    to group discounts.

Hi Software Guy (genius coder that you are!!)

Totally fab. Copied up tested and it is taking the correct amount off items including vat.

I think as well a lot of people are probably forgetting to turn the include vat in the discount option on as well as this was the first thing that got me before I found your fix. SO just a wee remnder for anyone having issues you have to turn the include tax in the discount coupon to true in modules>order total> discount coupon.

I am no accountant but your mod does what it says on the tin. I have also added 2 items and more and calculations are all correct. (it rounds up but that seems ok to me)

    Thank you.

    Hi Scott

I have just given this a try and it looks to be working great.

Any chance of applying the same tax calc logic to the Group Discount module?

    Thanks for your hard work

    Kevin
