Adding products to customer account

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to add products into a customers account without them having to go through the motion of buying it using a gift certificate.

We sell virtual products. Our old method was to use a script to send a expiring link to the customer for their product. Some of these customers need to download a product again. I have been using a gift certificate to do this, but would rather just be able to add the product without making the customer go through the ordering process again.

Is there a way to do this, or is there a mod that will do this?

You can reset a download in your Admin.

Thank you for your response. I do know about resetting the downloads, but you missed the actual question. Sometimes I'm as clear as mud!

I need to get the products into their account first. I do not want to make the customer have to go through the order process yet again. I need to be able to put products into the customers account myself.

I have been sending gift certificates to myself, then logging into the customers account and buying the product, but I was hoping there was an easier way to do this. The problem with this method, is that it shows as a new purchase and is calculated in the sales totals.

Even if there is no fix for my problem, I want to say thanks to you and everyone here that helps out. Your help is is much appreciated.
