Email with Link to a product : URL redirect, rewrite, .htacess?

I need to send text emails with a hyper link to one of my products .

Instead of the link being:

"Hey Guys check this out!

http://yoursite.com/index.php?main_page=document_product_info&cPath=101&products_id=1011"

I want a link this:

"Hey Guys check this out!

http://yoursite.com/new_stuff "

The Url could change back to the original URL once they landed on the ZC page.

What would be the best way to do this with ZC?

something in the .htacess file? if so what? is there a better way with ZC?

Basic html code to include in your mail adjust the red text to say what you want as this is what is displayed

<a href="https://Your link to page that what you want displayed.com">Your_Text_Displayed</a>

Thank you for the code! However I only send out text emails with no HTML content.
