I suppose i have my zone's wrong. however I thought zones were for shipping, not payment.

If anyone tries to make a purchase they are getting this error.

Any ideas where this is coming from?

Lots of things use Zones ...

Click on each Payment Module ...

1 If not using it and you see the Remove button ... remove it

2 If using it, jot down the settings in NotePad ... Remove and Install and Configure it ...

Do not set Zones if you do not intend to limit who can use a Payment module ...

NOTE: you are also missing these classes from your stylesheet which is why you see the extra box when creating an account ...
