Configuration>Images>Product Info - Number of Additional Images per Row NOT Working

I would like to have additional images displayed horizontally, 3 images per row like this:
X X X
X X X

Currently it displays only one per row in a single column like this:

X
X
X
X
X

It was suggested that this can be set in Admin> Configuration> Images> Product Info - Number of Additional Images per Row, and actually the default is already set to 3, but it is not working.

Is this a bug or do I need to edit something else? I'm using ZC 1.3.7

You are probably missing a CSS declaration in your stylesheet. they need to be floated to the left in order to be controlled by the number per row.

Thanks Kim, that must have been it. I was using a template from the download section. I have now created my own template doing several modifications to the 'classic' template and it's working perfectly now.
