    DrB, could u point me in the direction of an FAQ or something for setting up zencart to serve SSL from the httpdocs folder? i'll get onto my host and see if they can help me.

    Zen Cart *automatically* serves it from the ONE place you install it ... ie: httpdocs.

    You'll need to get your host to reconfigure your account so that all your SSL traffic goes to your httpdocs instead of httpsdocs. Sometimes they do this by making the "httpsdocs" be a 'symlink'.

    That will be the simplest approach.

    They may have to also alter their open_basedir restrictions slightly for you.

    Your configure.php files will need to change all "httpsdocs" references to "httpdocs".

    You'll no longer need to maintain 2 separate copies of files ... in both httpdocs and httpsdocs. it'll all run from httpdocs directly.

    Or, you can switch to a Hoster that doesn't use such a convoluted naming system for a path.

    DrB - I used a shared dir for SSL content like you said and it all works perfectly now!!
