Adding data entry fields and creating a new page

I need to add a few fields to the Creatte Account page that are specific to my business requirements. These fields will need to write to the database to save data.

I also, need to create a custom page and connect it to the database to save data.

Is there an easy way to do this? Is there any instructions documentation on how to do this?

The only possible assistance might be in the form of the wiki on the DB...and if you can read and clone code you can use other entries and replicate...

You will also most likely have to add records to the customer table(s) to house this information

No straight how to guide that I am aware of, mostly as there is not one single way to modify pages - many are through the admin - others by creating pages - others by editing files....

Post more detail as to the specific page you want to modify??

But as I read your OP...you first want to create a "new" page and modifying this would be fully based upon how you created this and if it is integrated into the admin or not...

I am looking to add a few fields to the Log In page, New Customer section. I need to add about 2-3 fields and store the input on the database along with other customer information such as address.
