Default Paypal - restrict to just Paypal accts - not allow CC payments - Possible ?

Does anyone know if you can set up Paypal such that a customer must pay only through their Paypal account and not allow a cc to be used (even for a Paypal account holder) ?

The idea is that if any Paypal payment module is used, then the customer could only send money from their PP account (either their paypal account has a balance or they draw from their bank account)....not use credit card.

    Many thanks for any guidance

All settings are under your profile in your paypal account, read each one carefully, you can disable credit cards and require each to have a paypal account, if you prefer them to use paypal and not thier credit card.

If im not mistaken go to profile --> Payment Receiving Preferences set to whatever you wish, think you can go to profile --> Website Payment Preferences as well. Just have to look around for what you want.

    Thanks

I saw under the Website Payment Preferences where to turn off PayPal Account Optional so that the customer would need to have a Paypal account, but I can't seem to find where to turn off credit cards.

I know a few years ago, you could also require a customer to have a Verified Paypal account, but PP got rid of that

Using Express Checkout, you can require that they have a confirmed shipping address. If the address they supply isn't a Confirmed one, they'll be required to go back and choose a Confirmed address.

No, this is not possible. PayPal will collect and remit funds using whatever funding option the customer chooses.
