USPS not working :-(

OK, i have my USPS account on the "production" server, I have it set to production in the USPS setup area, I have my store zip setup in the shipping/packaging area, and it still gives me the following message:

United States Postal Service We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)


I'm sending from 80015 to customer zip 15601 as a test and that's the message I get.

Is there something I'm missing? I put the lattest USPS patch in and checked everything to be sure I was not just missing something simple. Help Please! Thanks!

I think it may be something to do with "safe mode" on the server. I'm looking into it. I'm going to be on the road for the next 10 days, so I'll check back when I'm home. I hope a solution is found by then. Thanks Everyone!

Just as a thought, have you made sure that ther e is a zip code set in
admin -> configuration -> shipping?

I'm having the same problem, and I do have my zip code set in admin/config/shipping

Has your USPS ever worked?

If not, have you ever called USPS and asked them to activate your account for the PRoduction Server?

Be sure to use the Production server and not the Test or Staging server ...

I have the zip code in the admin shipping area and my USPS has never worked. I did contact USPS and i'm on the production server. It's just wierd.

3 You have set your Country and State

4 You have set your 5 digit Zip Code

5 You have gone to Modules ... Shipping ... and uninstalled and reinstalled and configured your USPS Shipping Module

6 you used a copy/paste of your ID so not to make typos
