non-priced product attributes ignored

I have defined a product with 0 base price and attributes - some of the attributes have prices and some do not.

If the buyer chooses the product twice and selects the same PRICED attributes each time, the resulting order only shows the non-priced attributes of the last product selected. The non-priced attributes of the first product are lost.

Specifically, I have a text attribute, where I collect text information for the product. The order only shows the text value for the last product.

Is there a way I can force both products to appear seperately in the resulting order, each with its proper attributes?

I found a thread at https://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=105319, which helped me solve my problem.

I moved my text attribute ahead of my checkbox attributes, and the problem disappeared.
