thumbnail gallery in Zen Cart?

Is it possible to do a layout similar to this with Zencart?
An aesthetically pleasing, but non-functional site example:
http://www.worksofman.com/load/best.htm

What I like about this: less text, more image within each category. Click on a thumbnail, you get the image you want to see.

I do a different sort of thumbnail gallery in my current site at www.worksofman.com - my rapidly aging site, which needs love and ecommerce....


I've searched for awhile now, but if I missed something, I apologize.
Just trying to figure out where I should spend my time, and if my aesthetic goal is possible.

I have not seen this as you have this applied in a zen cart but then I have not seen every Zen Cart produced. This is not to say that this is not possible, just that exactly this is not part of the default code
