Sudden Unable to Connect to Localhost

I was working for a few hours with my local site. I took a break to eat and when I got back, I was unable to connect to my localhost for my admin of 1.3.7.
I had my 1.3.7 store, my 1.3.7 admin and my 1.3.6 admin up all day -- jumping back and forth to make sure that 1.3.7 = 1.3.6 overrides. Now, both store versions are running, 1.3.6 admin is running, but when I go to 1.3.7 admin I get "Unable to connect. Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost."
I don't know what I touched to cause this. Any ideas? Be gentle, localhost and connections are definitely not my strong suit.

Never mind.
I shut everything down and rebooted. That seems to fix my problem. I am able to connect to the localhost across the board again.
