New Products Not Showing On Main Page

I don't recall changing these settings, but just noticed that the new products are not listed in center of the page and there is no link under the all products button. I'm not sure what got changed. How do I go about getting these back. These are the settings I have for the admin-index listing:
Show New Products on Main Page 1 Show Featured Products on Main Page 0 Show Special Products on Main Page 3 Show Upcoming Products on Main Page 0 Show New Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories 1 Show Featured Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories 0 Show Special Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories 0 Show Upcoming Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories 0 Show New Products on Main Page - Errors and Missing Products Page 1 Show Featured Products on Main Page - Errors and Missing Products Page 0 Show Special Products on Main Page - Errors and Missing Products Page 0 Show Upcoming Products on Main Page - Errors and Missing Products Page 0 Show New Products - below Product Listing 1 Show Featured Products - below Product Listing 0 Show Special Products - below Product Listing 0 Show Upcoming Products - below Product Listing 0 New Products Columns per Row 3 Featured Products Columns per Row 3 Special Products Columns per Row 3 Filter Product Listing for Current Top Level Category When Enabled 1

Just saw this is set to true, so I now really don't understand why I don't have the new products button/link showing.

been tinkering with this on and off all morning and still can't get it to appear. Guess I will be restoring a backup and redoing a couple days of work.

OMG I forgot to reply to this about how stupid I can be.

SO. The new month started and I forgot. So after uploading 2 different backups and nothing showing my business partner goes you realize it's a new month and you haven't added new products right?!

Thanks for the update that the New Products for the month were showing the New Products for the Month and you did not have any yet ...

IS IT POSSIBLE, to change the new products MAIN page, to show all products, not just new?

Your View Source on your main page shows:

This leads me to believe that your have it commented out and also not setup in your templates and overrides as that is the default that comes with Zen Cart ...

I got the same problem and look at my source code and shows that too how can i fix this you say that maybe it is commented out but where i can get that undone
