Old items appearing in 'New Products' sidebox

Hi,

In my 'New Products' sidebox where it's meant to display latest products added randomly I find I'm getting products appearing in there from 6 months ago and yet it doesn't seem to be showing the latest products I've added in the system.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Is there somewhere where I can configure this so that it only shows say the last 10 or 20 products I've added to the system?

In the Maximum Values did you define what the New Products consist of?

New Product Listing - Limited to ...
Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days

No, it was still set to the default of 0. That fixed it :-) Thanks.

I am having the same problem on my home decor site. I have tried several settings in the "New Product Listing - Limited to". Currently the settings is 60 in the Maximum Values settings. You can see from the homepage that older products are included in the new products for June list on the homepage.

Is there something that overrides the "New Product Listing - Limited to" setting?

What version Zen Cart?

If you switch to Classic does this fix it?

There is a bug in v1.3.5 that affects the New Products so it does not work with the settings correctly ...

There are several other issues as well that would make it worth while upgrading to v1.3.7 and add the current PayPal Patch at:
