Super Orders vs Edit Orders

Hi all

I may need to edit orders so i went looking for a mod and found

Super Orders and Edit Orders

But no where can i find anything that says exactly what they do, i am part way through the the super orders support thread (60 pages), but i was hoping some one could give me an idea of exactly what they both do

What i need is to be able to

add/remove products
Alter the shipping charge ( <-- this is the important one)

and thats all,

Any help would be appreciated

The exact question I was going to ask! I've read and re-read what Super Orders does, and I'm not sure it actually edits orders! Plus, it won't work with PHP5 (which is pretty much mandatory) and a lot of those posts are patch upon patch upon patch.
However, the author is now back and promises an update, but it looks like being AFTER the summer. (Northern hemisphere summer!)

As for edit order, I've had some php5 issues with that too, so I'm going to work on some of the suggested solutions and will post back with any findings

Thanks for that Kelvin, I don't have to worry about the PHP 5 issue as my server is php4

Still don't know if either of them allow me to edit shipping, guess I will have to install them to find out, bah humbug

Super Orders allows you to change the price for shipping but that is about all I can figure out, you can't change the method (not that I know of!)
