Products Name size

hi how do i change the number of characters in the Products Name field because at the moment it is not letting me put enough in

You need to access your database using phpMyAdmin, locate the table called (zen_)products_description and change the Type value.

Be aware that very long product names can play havoc with page layout.

ok thanks also synce im going to be having londer product names how do i turn off the product description from displaying under the product name in the catogries pages with all the lists of items

NOTE: if you change the length of your products_name in the products_description table, you will also want to change it in any other table that uses it so that it does not get truncated ...
