Product Sort order

Can you help. I need to show the pipe / fitting sizes in order but they seem to be all over the place. I have tried to do it in the admin area but nothing changes. Even getting the products to display in model number order would help as this is generally the order of the product sizes.

Cool. Didn't realize I'd put all that in, I was to busy being frustrated with the problem.

What fixed it for me was working out what the 2a meant in the Display Product Listing Default Sort Order.
