How come the card expiry date shows a date in the past by default?
Wouldnt it make more sense to at least show the current month that we are in? Or a please select pre definition.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other.
Actual expiry dates vary so much that it will be impossible to guess a date. By leaving the default on January and the lowest year, at least the customer has a common starting point. Ease of use sometimes overrides "logic".
Hi
The default month being the current month would be better. I'll post here for others if I get it sorted.

Personally I hate when the date is the current month as I have cards for January (1) and end up going to November (11) or December (12) when all I needed to do was just change the year ...
But again, everyone wants a different method ....
