Login issues; Customers

Hi,

I have fresh install of 1.3.7 running MySQL 4.1.18-standard on a windows server with the standard skin;

The install went well, with the only problem being that when a customer tries to log in, it loops back to the 'customer log in page'. It's the same when a customer fills the cart up and checks out; they cannot log in and get the same loop

Try turning off the Recreate Session in the Configuration ... Sessions ... see if this fixed this issue ...

I've experienced the same problem and followed Ajeh advise which worked brilliantly, thanks. It's been a frustrating week trying to work out what it was.

Perhaps you can find out from your hosting site why you cannot use the Recreate Sessions as it is more secure ...
