I've done this enough that I should know but . . . what in the world is the 'single column status' used for? What I'd really like to know is how to get 'Specials' to appear in the center below my main_page welcome at:

THere is no documentation that I know of for this, but Ajeh has said that it is not currently functional in any useful way. It is planned for a future feature, and if it works as it seems like it should, would be a very nice thing to have.
Meanwhile, why can't you configure the Specials centerbox to behave similar to the sidebox?

What I need is the specials to show up in the center and for whatever reason my mind seems to have taken a Memory Dump and I can't find where to control such . . .
