i've seen several related questions in the forum, but no answers - so i'll ask:

is there any way to restrict products to be shipped to only some shipping areas?
i am implementing a cart for someone, and he cannot ship one of his 2 product types to anything beyond a handful of states.

any advice, pointers, or offers to code for $$ welcome.
