Products Quantity and Date Added still showing up though they are disabled in config

I disabled the "show quantity in stock" and the "date added" settings in
configuration-->new listing
configuration-->featured listing
configuration-->all listing
configuration-->product listing

I also turned off "check stock level" and "subtract stock" in
configuration-->stock

and both "show quantity in stock" and the "date added" still showing up when i click on a product to view it. I have refreshed IE but it is not the problem, since it also shows up in FF when i went to the site for the 1st time using it, and no cache of the site existed. Am I missing something?

It is not the site in my sig, it is a new site i am tinkering with.

configuration-->product info.

I modified Configuration-->Products Info - Products Option Name Sort Order
To "0" (off) but it remains the same. I did not see an option in there to turn of product added date, though.

So i still am having the same problem. Any idea why it isn't turning those off?

Did you also peek at the settings on the individual Product Types in the Catalog ... Product Types ... Edit Layout button?

That did the trick! Wow, the dev team should see about just putting that setting in one location instead of 6! Thanks for the help gjh42 and Ajeh!! I thought i was going nuts and missing something obvious..
