price problems!!

Hi, I am trying to set up zen-cart for the first time, I have noticed a problem with my shop though..

When I set the price of the product (both net and Gross) and update the details (which goes through fine), however when I look at the site )(and also the list of products in the admin section) the prices are different!

example: $5.00 Gift Certificate is set to be $5.00 in the admin section, however when it is processed/created the actual price that displays is £2.64

Is this because of some option that I have not set right or a bug somewhere? Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

Check which Currency is the default and ensure that is set to a value of 1 ...

Then do the update currency to bring any others up to date based on this ...

Can you tell me why all my prices are currently displaying with the dollar symbol - i need to change them to the £GBP symbol - As far as I can see, everything is set to UK and £ but the pages still show with $.

Where should I check?

More than likely your default is GBP but you have not updated your language file for this so it is grabbing USD ...

Copy your language file to your overrides directory:
/includes/languages/english.php

/includes/languages/your_template_dir/english.php

if you have not already done so, then check for the currency setting and if it is USD and you want GBP change it ...

Thanks for the update that you were just having some configuration issues with your currency settings and default settings to get all prices to display properly on your shop ...
