A Simple Border around the product info whilst using the column layout grid mod

Hi all.

I've installed the column layout grid mod, and I'm very happy with the improved layout, but I want to put a simple coloured 1 pixel border around the whole product.

I've been searching and reading for the past hour, but when trying to implement the answers I have found, it seems that most of the answers seem to not apply to the new column mod, or they are just for putting borders around the images.

Could someone explain a way to put a border around the whole product when using the column layout mod?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Rik,

Could you share the URL of your shop?

I've installed the same mod, but I've changed so much in it that I can't remember where to add the border without looking at the original thing.

I'm actually working on it offline at the mo, trying to get it right.

I know what you mean though.
Thanks to all the useful discussions on this board I've managed to change a lot of code to get what I have so far, but if I had to go back and show someone else how I did it, I'd have to think very hard.

I'm also currently fighting with trying to make the price font for the product listings a little bigger, but I haven't given up on that one yet.

Ok, I just took a look at mine, try adding this to your stylesheet and see how it goes :)

div.centerBoxContentsProducts,
div.centerBoxContentsNew,
div.centerBoxContentsFeatured {
border: 1px solid#whatever;
}

Unfortunately it didn't work.

It seems the simple things are the hardest to do in ZenCart doesn't it.

I'll keep trying.
