background image is gone.

I followed these instructions:

When I went to the site after that it was all different colors, pink, purple, etc. and the width of the template went to 100% instead of the green template width of 760 i think it is. Now the background_bg.jpg is not showing at all and I cannot figure out how to make it show.

Can someone point me in the right directions please?

Have you activated your new template?

I beleive so. I went to tools, template selection, then updated in tools, layout boxes controller. thank you very much

Fantastico install. Then I copied the template_default and renamed it to mytemplate Thank you

k- I would suggest you do a manual install and do not copy all of template default. You can use Classic as the base of your template and then you ONLY copy the files you need to modify into your custom template. Try one or two of the templates from the download section for examples.

I already terminated the site and installed manually before I saw your post. I got the same results as before. When I used the classic folder as mytemplate then it worked correctly.

You might want to adjust this post so future people don't get confused also.

PS. I kinda liked the way the template went 100% width instead of the set 760 width. Maybe a hint :)

Open your stylesheet and change the width - easy smeazy.
