paypal express checkout setup

i installed the paypal information and my account information into the zen cart payment module...

when i tried to check out if got this:

Uninstall all PayPal ... Install both PayPal ... Uninstall what you do not need and Install and configure what you do need ...

what is the "Enter an API Partner Username:"

good grief, i'm so frustrated today i can't evencompose a sentence!

When I go over to paypal to configure the API it asks "Enter an API Partner Username:" it gives a bunch of carts, but zen cart isn't listed there.

1. This isn't about PayPal IPN. You're using the Express Checkout module. I've renamed this thread accordingly, and moved it into the Express Checkout discussion area.

2. I'm not sure where you've gone to setup API details. Here are the setup instructions:
