Default The Best Way Around 2 Domains ?

    hiya
    I have 2 domains -
123.com has a pr of 3 and is based on keywords.
    456.com is my store name.
    both get traffic.

I previously had my zencart shop on 123.com and had 456.com parked on it (i used to tell people this address and use it on advertising etc as it was easier to remember than the keywords one)
    but
Ideally (apparently) I would like both domains to be able to age(?) and gain in pr and be able to submit them both to directories etc.

Its been suggested (elsewhere) that i do a basic blank html page in 123.com with a piece of code in that says you are being redirected to 456.com and that the site would age and gain pr, but i wouldnt be able to submit it to directories as most of them do not allow re-directed sites (i know mine doesn't lol)

I thought I would bring this over to zen cart to see what your thoughts are on which way to go around this, seeing as you are the zen experts
    my choices so far are:
    * leave it on 456.com and ditch 123.com
    * leave it on store name and park/point 123.com to it
    * leave it on 456.com, and also put it on 123.com and run it as 2 shops (i have read a couple of threads but got a bit confuddled lol)

    thanks again

Default Re: The Best Way Around 2 Domains ?

there are two ways to do this. The most stable method is to use easy populate. you can find it in the downloads section, but you have to purchase the product, it's not expensive and more than worth it. You use it to place the same products in both sites, and you can still keep the sites as individual businesses..

The second method is still being worked on as multi-site. Search the forum and you'll find the thread that references multi-site. I haven't tried it yet because it just seems very complicated, and I can usually handle add-ons, but this one doesn't give me that warm fuzzy feeling yet.
