I have a question: I just installed the spanish language but 'my apple' template needs to be updated to spanish too, parts of it on the top of the menu like: HEADER_TITLE_CATEGORY, HEADER_TITLE_INFORMATION, HEADER_TITLE_CONTACT_US.

Seems for me that your menu read the language text from my language file, but kind of lost.. I am a Zen Cart newbie.

Any help?

Lovely template!! easy to handle, easy to install.

I installed a spanish version for the Zen, but there are some menus in Apple Zen that doesn't get the translation, I could translate and send the code to who ever is in charge so the next generations could use it :) /// does anybody may tell me where to look for?

So far I found only this variables who needs the translation: HEADER_TITLE_CATEGORY
HEADER_TITLE_INFORMATION
HEADER_TITLE_CONTACT_US

Any help?

Hello,

I downloaded apple zen for V1.5.
I must have done something stupid. But I cannot find it.
Dropdown menu is not completely visible (text is ok ; background only half visible (seems to be horizontally split into 2).
What file can be responsible for this ? I'm working on a local test version.
Also the colors in IE are totally different from those in google chrome (these are ok).

First go to your server files and compare with zip contents that you got all files transfered to their correct places. You may have to reup load them manually (the best way) to ensure one or more did not get corrupted.

Also check the read me and make sure you made the edits she states too.

Then go see if it behaves right. IF it still is not behaving then come back and it wouldn't hurt to post a link so the creator and any other helper can see what's up and may get a better idea of how to help you so we do not play a guessing game.

Thanks for a great template!!

I've spent a few hours searching but all the replies seem to be dated a few years ago and maybe do not apply

I would like my site to be a fixed width of say 975 pixels - is this possible - I've tried changing the width statements as above but nothing seems to happen

Oops - it does work by changing the two width parameters - forgot to save the changes - doh!!

I'm sure this is user error, and I apologize in advance. I've just started using Zen Cart, and have very little experience with it. I have tried to install this template, but though it shows on my list of available templates, when I update to this template, I have pretty much no images, no background, little formatting... It's pretty bad. I'm not sure what I have done wrong, but I would really like to fix it. When I use the default template, I don't have this issue.

I just had that happen with a different template I was installing for someone too...first time it ever did that too.

1. Open your zipped template again.
2. Using FTP program upload all the files (NOT the folders just the files) again to the exact same folders onto your server.

See if that helps your template to show itself proper. It might be one file got corrupted or one might not have gotten uploaded...maybe on of the .css files.
