Product images not showing up on listing...?

My problem is that the product names and images won't display on the product listing page but WILL display on the product page itself. So I know it's not that the images contain errors or that the permissions are wrong because you can see the images on the product page.

I can also see them on the product editing page in admin.

Here's the wierd part. I had a test install on another server that works perfectly. I backed up the DB from that install and restored it to the DB powering the new install so all the settings in admin are exactly the same. The directory structure is exactly the same as well.

I've done a fair amount of customization but I uploaded and re-uploaded all the edited files to the new install as well.

At first I thought it was a host issue or some sort of htaccess problem but I don't see how that makes sense as I can see the product images, just not on the product listing page and all other images work fine.

I've used the admin tool for uploading all category and product images.

I should note that I have code installed to display the product listings in a columnar format, though this code works fine on the test install and when I deactivated that code the problem persisted.

Very weird!

I know what you are stating but this is what is being loaded for this one product and I suspect that this is also the case for others and if the same DB is being used and this was just moved then the image names that are stored in the DB would also be the same and they are not

I know. I was only referring to the settings of the store set in admin or set in code. The images are different because the client wanted new images on the non-test store (i.e. securepersonalcare.com/store) so uploaded the new images via the admin tool. That's why the image path isn't the same, they're different images.

Also, the image path is set from when I uploaded them. If it was simply being copied from the old database (if I hadn't uploaded new images, for example) they'd still be working as those images are still on the other server.

The problem is that for some reason, ZC doesn't think the products have a picture attached when listing the pictures even though they clearly do as can be seen from the product info page.

Hi I am new to the ZC page and trying to figure out how to make the dropdown box for product appear on page for each product my boss carry. A friend was fixing her website but never uploaded images to it. Now I have figured out how to upload images and make Option Name and Value Name for the product I need to know how to install the drop down box on the page
here is page http://www.knightlightcandle.com I see where the guy made a drop down box for the Scented Oil now I need to make a drop down box for the rest of my boss products. Can anyone tell me what to click on to do this? Thanks any help would be appreciated

Peaches, your question is not related to the rest of this thread. You would do better to post your own thread ("new thread" button at top left of a subforum list page).

If you have option names and option values set up, the next step is to assign them to products in the Attributes Controller.

And which page are you wanting the alpha sorter on?

I have the same problem. My problem is some images are showing and some are not.

If I go into the particular product and re-upload the image then it will show. However I can't do this for 2000 products!

The image is in the server and the path is right. I just don't know why it won't show.

Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How were these initially uploaded then?

They were initially uploaded by FTP. A lot of the images show though, but also quite a few not showing.
