Not sure what "the big green weenie" is, but it sounds bad , the Paypal rep I spoke with and am communicating with has mentioned it and seems to have the info, however I will go through that name in the other thread, seeing as how they seem to be the one with the actual authority. The rep I emailed also said their rates were going up Sept. 1st, so I'll have to see if this is true, and/or still applicable.

"PayPal Pro 2.0" is what used to be "Verisign Payflow Pro", and is now owned by PayPal.
Hence the need to use the payflow module in order to use such an account at the present time.
Built-in "Pro 2.0" support should be available in Zen Cart around the same time that the Website Payments Pro code is released.

So long as it works I will be happy, I will end up using it if I am unable to get Sam's Club/LinkPoint/YourPay/FirstData to waive their startup fee, becuase it is very high, and the higher percentage doesn't even matter because the startup fee covers that difference out to a year.

Are you trying to sign up for linkpoint through the link on the Zen Cart site ? I believe the fees through that method are much more competitive...

Well, they don't have startup cost, however their discount rate is much higher, Sam's is only 1.98% as compared to 2.39%
