Tax Questions I need help!

Hello! I have a few questions about sales tax. I am in IL and I am unsure how to set up the taxes in my store (I'm very new at this). I have all of my items as taxable goods, but when you check out, no tax is being to add charged (even though it shows on the products page as taxable goods and shows me the charge added as tax). The 1st problem is that I am only showing the tax rate for FL which is 7%. How do I switch it to IL, and then, also, do I have to add all of the states or just IL since I am selling goods here?

Again, once I know how the taxes work as far as if I have to have just the rate for IL, I then need to know how to get the tax to add once the customer checks out!
