Change font color of header category links

Hi,

I want to change the font color of the category links on the header of the site, but when I do, it changes the font for all of the 'category' related links, as in the sidebox. I would like the sidebox to have a font color of black, which it is, but the header displayed categories I would like the font to be white.

How would I do this, any advice please?

There are different CSS tags for all the pieces in Zen Cart so that each element can be individually styled. So for example if I want my category links purple, and my information links green its easy to do.

Try using this. You can easily see what CSS tags are applied to the element you want to change and even temporarily edit the CSS to see what it will look like.

I am also very interested in how to change the text colour for the categoriesHeading, I have tried as many of the more obvious css codes and non seem to work, I have managed to sort out most of the css but this is causing me much mirth, please help if you can...?

Follow red8ii8's link above to get a tool that will help you do this kind of thing easily. It will show you the class or id and its ancestors that apply to the element you want to change. The Firefox Web Developer and Firebug extensions are essential for comfortable website customization.
