After file upload, want to make filename a clickable link to preview uploaded content

Hi!

After the user uploaded a file and adds this to his/her shopping cart, the attribute, the original filename and the filename of the file on the server is shown to the user underneath the product.
Where is this defined so I can edit what's shown to the user?
I want to make this clickable so the user can see the file he/she uploaded afterwards.

An old thread I know, but seems still open....

I too would like to know what is the best way to do this... I have hacked the orders.php file to add a download link but its not the best way because people can just go to the uploads folder via a URL and try to guess file names which is not hard as its numberical, (12.pdf), and its bad for privacy.

So would anyone know the best way to add a download link to the uploaded file, without compromising privacy by visitors being able to guess uploads URLs?

Using FTP is not a suitable method because many customers do not know FTP or want to use it. It adds the risk of a customer deleteing all the uploads too.
