    They did not replace the meta info with theirs
    Code:
    <meta name="authors" content="The Zen Cart&trade; Team and others" />
    <meta name="generator" content="shopping cart program by Zen Cart&trade;, http://www.zen-cart.com" />
    The footer info is not an infraction

    Didn't say it was. Just thought it was interesting that they found the text to replace powered by ZenCart but could not find the other file given its name AND location.

    I suggested that you upgrade - as the version you are using is slated to be dropped from any support. And there are many improvements in the newer code.

    Start there

    @modja

    People aren't really paying much attention to your question because it answers itself. The text that you want to change is, as it says, in your site's /includes/languages/english/index.php file.

    And Kobra is absolutely right when he says to upgrade. The version of Zen Cart that you are using is rather old and no longer supported. Furthermore it will probably just stop working when your web host does what most hosts seem to be doing at the moment and upgrades their PHP/MySQL combination to cope with your current version of PHP coming to the end of its life too.

    @ Kuroi & Kobra
    How do i upgrade without affecting my database, the instructions I got when I wanted to upgrade made the shopping cart not to work and it looked funny. I'm using ver 1.2.6. Can i roll back after upgrading and something goes wrong? Thanks in advance

    Always make backups of the files and the DB before doing this and/or just create another install with another DB in a sub-dir/folder, and load the current DB to it and re-run the zc_install selecting upgrade DB only. Then you have this to insure that it works and looks as you want
