    red flag URGENT no part order email sent v1.3.5

    Hi,
    I am new to Zencart but have 10 years in the IT field.

    1. Is there a Zen cart tutorial?

    2. URGENT - shopping cart takes order, charges customer through paypal, send paypal billed info but does not send an email to customer or us of what part they ordered.

    It used to work but we changed from authorized.net to PayPal- now its broke.

    Can anyone help?

    What version of Zen Cart are you using?
    Which PayPal module are you using (if you see more than one in your admin)?
    Who is your hosting company?

    red flag credit card/PayPal charged but "Number of Orders: 0"

    credit card/PayPal charged, email notification recieved by customer and us
    but "Number of Orders: 0" in Customers
    Has not worked since switch from authorize.net to PayPal

    and
    Orders not shown in >customers>orders

    and
    PayPal Transaction Details shows payment amount ok, shows
    Item Title: as MicroSupply Purchase (would like to see item purchased)
    Item Number: 1
    Custom: zeid=52e......... -whats this about?

    There was no "PayPal Pro" module released with Zen Cart v1.3.5. I assume you're referring to a custom module you've installed? ... and therefore will need to talk to the author of that module in order to determine what may be causing the problems you're experiencing.

    Default PAYPAL - no Zen email, order report, or Paypal Model Title

    I'm having the exact same issue as bobbyd above, only I built a Zen Shop and have only used the PayPal IPN module. I tested it once upon build, with success and have just recently gotten word from the site owner of this issue. They got a notice from PayPal of amounts posted from their website, however in the PayPal Transaction Details, the Item Title: is not descriptive of the Model Number assigned in Zen Cart. It simply says

    Item Title: 1 [WEBSITE NAME] Purchase

    When logged into Zen Cart Admin, I can see a new member registered, but 0 orders.

    Zen Cart 1.3.7
    PayPal IPN Module
    ipncheck = Communications OK
    curlcheck = Success
    Hosting: HostingZoom

    Any help is appreciated.
