Adding extra fields to links manager module

Hello, I installed links manager and wanted to add an extra field to the submit link page. Clyde told me that the files that need altered was.

1) Add the necessary define statements for that field to:
includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/links_manager_defines.php

2) Add the code necessary to draw the field in:
includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_links_submit_default.php

I just want to add a field named Banner URL that would let me know where there banner was located so I could enter the info. and I dont know what to change in the .php files due to not knowing php at all and alittle of html knowledge. Plead help!
