Multiple Shipping Locations???

I have a client that wants to ship certain items from 3 different locations. Currently they ship from only 1 location using the UPSXML contribution and it seems to work great. Is there any way to configure ZenCart to use a different shipping postal code on a per product, per category, or per manufacturer basis?

FYI: They would also like to start offering FedEx as well.

And when 4 products are in the cart from 2 different shipping locations ... who wins?

I'm not sure what you mean by who wins...

I was hoping there was a way to configure ZenCart to drop ship from multiple locations. My client handles all of the billing and procesing from their main office but they have warehouses around the country and I'm not sure how to handle this. Is there any way to set the SHIP FROM postal code on a per product basis?

This would require a bunch of things added into the DB and then the code to be effective.

Table records for where the item is warehoused to be selected when products is entered in the admin.

Additional validation and checking code to perform additional calculations based upon the ship location and then to sum up the shipping fees that are calculated.

And even more if you want location A to ship via one method and location B to ship by another and on and on.....

Not impossible but might not be worth it
