Need help with Virtual Merchant module

Hmm, found it. Apparently ssl_do_customer_email didn't do what I thought it did and was causing VM to puke. Mine works now too. Cool!

As we all wait for the posting of the VM module, I want to thank all of you who have put in countless hours working on this pesky payment module. For those of us not quite knowledgeable enough in the coding department we have been cheering you on daily.

OK folks, here it is, Finally!!! It's available in the download section. This is a fully featured Credit Card payment module for ZenCart 1.2.x and 1.3.x. for use with Nova's Virtual Merchant Web Terminal interface. Tested and working!

Version 1.0 of the Virtual Merchant Payment Module - by rtw819 (me! :)

Short Feature List:

- Capable of using either PHP cURL or Command Line cURL options with/without Proxy
- Heavily tested against Virtual Merchant Web Terminal API
- User error reporting and feedback for PEBKAC, card issues, and payment gateway problems
- Admin email option on transaction failures/problems
- Logs to file with configurable debugging depth for troubleshooting and day-to-day operation
- Lots of little bugs have been squished, and improvements made to match VM interface features

Please read the included README file, as it includes installation instructions and other pertinent information YOU NEED TO KNOW for using this module. Please read prior to posting questions. :)

*** Be sure to LOCK DOWN your logs directory, ask your web hosting provider for assistance or alternatively disable the logging from the Admin menu if you do not know how to lock down that directory. (See the README for full info.)

Hi,
I installed the VM mod and I get this error in my admin.:

The Virtual Merchant Payment Gateway module requires cURL functions, the Binary Executable configured was NOT FOUND!

I am assuming this has to be set up on my server. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Try changing the following settings:

Use PHP Curl?
False

cURL Executable Path - Non-PHP only
/usr/bin/curl


I had the same error during our testing and changing the above fixed it

Hi,
Please disregard the previous post I made

I read the instructions over a second time and found out what I needed know in "Database Additional Options" section. I guess I was not set up for PHP curl so I just had to find where my curl binary executable was located, input that into the applicable space in the mod's admin options, and the warning message disappeared.

Looks good now.
