Scrolling Featured Sidebox support thread

Thanks for the great mod :)

I however have a question if anyone can help. We use salemaker more than we do the specials and have various different categories setup under salemaker that do not expire (60%,70%,80%, etc. off) and would like to find a way to make those salemakers specials scroll instead of featured products.

I would do it myself however I do not know SQL statements all that well, especially multiple joins.

I had this installed on my old Zencart version but when I updated my Zencart to the newest version it doesn't work. I made sure it was installed into the proper folder of the new Zencart. Is there something else I need to do ? My friend also installed it on her new Zencart version and it doesn't work with it either.

Scrolling featured sidebox installed and tested on latest
version of zencart 1.3.8.. working fine...

Installed it into 1.3.7 and it only scrolls successfully in Firefox.

Both IE 6 & IE 7 show scrolling text and the images are displayed static. All the images are displayed further down the page, in a vertical column, all are static.

I have Image Handler 2 installed. That might be the cause.

The scrolling on the demo page displays fine in both my IE 6 & IE7. So it's something that is different about my site.

Will have a bit more of a look at it a bit later when I get some time.

Thanks Misty ! I have gone over and over this but can't figure out why mine isn't working now when it was before. I have installed a new updated Zencart here , copied my old DB over to the new one, installed the tpl_featured.php into my template sideboxes folder and positive I have it on the server. I have 2 items set as featured items . Everything is working great except for this. I do not use the Image Handler so am sure that's not it.

how many products you can have in featured, special,
new sideboxes..check you have entered correct number,
via admin...

Configuration, Maximum Values , Random Featured Products for Sidebox .
