I have zen cart 1.3.7.1 with the paypalpayflow pro module.

The tansactions are going through at the shop but

(i) the payments do not go through to paypal
(ii) the it will not take maestro a popular uk debit card.

does anyone know of an updated of offical version of this module. I am just using the one that comes with zen cart or it may be this one here. It is a very basic module.

They will show up on your Manager console, but probably not on your PayPal console.

that is a known limitation of the module

does anyone know of an updated of offical version of this module.

The one in the downloads area is the most currently released version.
An updated one will be released when v1.3.8 comes out.

Is using the CC module secure (when the card number is split)?
Should a add an SSL to the admin area if using the CC module?
Do paypal provide any modules for zen cart?

Is using the CC module secure (when the card number is split)?

If you have SSL enabled when collecting the info, then as long as you don't store the complete numbers on the server, it's considered standards-compliant.

Should a add an SSL to the admin area if using the CC module?

SSL should be used when handling any customer or other sensitive information.

Do paypal provide any modules for zen cart?

Zen Cart is updating PayPal modules for the v1.3.8 release.
PayPal will most likely direct you back here for the modules.

I have been reading the other threads and it seems that payal are none too clever when it comes to zen integration.

I think until the update I will have to use the cc module and get the client to make the payments through virtual terminal.

My final question is this. Is there an update for the cc module?

Is there an update for the cc module that includes card type drop down or any other enhancements.
