quantity question

I need to add multiple quantities to one item.

For example: Selling a tee shirt
shirt comes in Red, Yellow and Blue (dropdown). I have 5 Red, 1 Yellow, 3 Blue. (total 9)

How/where do I add the quantities to the colors I have not just the shirt in the products section of the admin?

This function is not part of the default install but there is a module for stock-by-attributes by kuroi in the downloads section that you might try

Thanks! I thought we installed the module correctly but now we are getting an error when we click an item to be purchased. Here is what the error says:

1146 Table 'mindstor_store.TABLE_PRODUCTS_WITH_ATTRIBUTES_STOCK' doesn't exist
in:
[select quantity as products_quantity from TABLE_PRODUCTS_WITH_ATTRIBUTES_STOCK where products_id = "189" and stock_attributes="1123"]


It also isn't showing up in the Admin.

OK well.... we were able to get rid of the error and can now see our shopping cart. However, every item is marked as "Out of stock", I'm guessing this is because of the installed "stock_by_attributes". I'm not able to change my quantities in the admin because "Products by Attribute Stock" isn't showing up in my Admin -> Catalog dropdown, did we forget to install something?

There is a sql patch included with this module and instructions on installing.
Did you apply/install the sql for this?

I have this (by kuroi) installed and thought that it was relatively straight forward and do have the "Products with Attributes Stock" as a selection.

You might go back over the files and check and lastly view the DB table for this to insure that the patch was applied correctly. I occasionally have had issues with the sql patch in the admin.

got it! we uploaded the entire folders rather than the individual files and that worked!
