Remove Weight from step 1 of checkout?

Gday,

I want to Remove the Weight from the top of the step 1 of checkout. I have been through the forum and found several answers and it has gone from everywhere else in the site, but it still appears here. I thought about going into the PHP pages and just removing the word but then 0lbs will still show up on the page.

Any ideas, I think this is my last thing to solve.

I have worked it out, it was in layout settings, but these are all the places I changed to get rid of it totally in case anyone needs to know

# Admin->Configuration->Shipping/Packaging->Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status
set at 0

# Admin->Prouct Types->General->edit layout->Show Attribute Weight
set at False

# Admin->Product Listing->Display Product Weight
Set at 0

# Admin->All Listing->display product weight (this is the only listing that shows but i have it set to 0 in new and featured as well)
set at 0

# Admin->Layout settings
Shopping Cart - Show Totals
Show Totals Above Shopping Cart?
0= off
1= on: Items Weight Amount
2= on: Items Weight Amount, but no weight when 0
3= on: Items Amount

I've set all of these, however weight: 0lbs still shows up in the shopping cart and on the estimated shipping screen, how do I make the Weight: 0 lbs just not display at all??

I was left with just the weight in the checkout as well and this is the one that got rid of it. I set i to zero.

1= on: Items Weight Amount
2= on: Items Weight Amount, but no weight when 0

I removed the weights from the shipping estimate pop-up and the shopping cart by using the Developer Tool Kit to find the right files that they were in and removed those entries.
Unfortunately, I didn't record the names of the files I changed. I know that I couldn't figure out how to save the files as overrides.
It did take me a while of finding the define names and then doing additional searches to find where they were used. I'll try to remember. If I do, I'll post again.
You can see the result if you go to http://www.rabbitinmyhat.com and take something to the shipping estimator. There is no reference to weight that my customer would see.

Thanks for the advice! I already changed about 6 parameters, but this setting did the trick :)

Works for me

Its a bit misleading in step 2, it should read:

# Admin->Catalog->Product Types->Product General->edit layout->Show Attribute Weight
set at False

I also set the 'show weight' to false.

There were some other bits in this menu which I which I didn't know where here like show dated added and show model number, which I have also turned off.
