Google checkout - Error parsing XML

Hi
I installed google checkout on my none standard cart (I sell santa letters). When I tried to do a sandbox transaction i get the following error message in the sandbox account -

<error xmlns="http://checkout.google.com/schema/2" serial-
number="9094c45e-42de-457f-8435-18b4f673a10b">
<error-message>Error parsing XML; message from parser is: Invalid
value for body of description in checkout-shopping-cart/shopping-cart/
items/item/digital-content: Must have around 1,014 characters or
fewer</error-message>
</error>

I know this is becouse its posting the whole letter to google checkout but don't how or if there is a workaround?
