    Default SSL links not working

I have installed an SSL certificate and have changed the two configure.php files with the proper https settings. I can get the SSL to show up if I directly enter https:www.hyltondesign.com/shop but the moment I click on any links the security goes away and I am left with http (no s).

    Any ideas?

How exactly did you change the files?

    You need to:
    a) download a copy of the files from your server
    b) make your edits, and save the file

and then upload the files back to the server
    HOWEVER
since the files on the server are marked "read-only", you need to:
    c) make the file read-write on the server
    d) upload the file
    e) make the file read-only again
    f) repeat for the other file

This is normal when installed correctly, only pages that require a secure session switch to htpps like login ans checkout.

Yours is not switching when login is selected. Follow DrBytes guide

Ok, I followed DrBytes instructions and now when I goto https://www.hyltondesign.com/shop I have a corrupt looking page (like the CSS file is not being read). Goto a regular page and it works fine.

However, if I try to log in or put somehting in my cart and try to check out I get a secure link but get a 404 page. Any thoughts?

Also, to clarify, for the configure.php files, I have full www.hyltondesign.com for http and https://www.hyltondesing.com/shop and enable SSL is 'true'.

EDIT: I also cannot access the admin area now.

you have /shop/ at the end of the URL and in the define catalog settings just below the ssl true switch,
this will fix BOTH issues, since your site is looking for a stylesheet in /shop/shop/

You've made some mistakes in both your 'configure.php' files.

    includes/configure.php
You have 'shop' listed twice for when using an 'https' connection.

i.e. Click or mouse-over the 'Log In' link on any page.

    admin/includes/configure.php
You have the wrong path to your admin section.

The error msg. tells the story.

OK, I scrapped the original admin/includes/configure.php file and started over.

    Now I get this error:
Warning: main(/includes/autoload_func.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/i/n/k/inkuyo/html/shop/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 147

Warning: main(/includes/autoload_func.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/i/n/k/inkuyo/html/shop/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 147

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/includes/autoload_func.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/i/n/k/inkuyo/html/shop/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 147

Ok. I went back to my old configure.php file that was just misisng the www in front of the domain. Add that and changed the SSL to true and it works. Thanks for the help.

I think on my last file I ust have had a path wrong and jsut could not see it.
