paypal -- auth-only vs capture

I want to be able to have paypal authorize but not charge a CC until we ship. How do I do that?

1. Select "authorize only" instead of "capture" in your paypal module settings in your Zen Cart admin. This way all your orders will only be "authorized", and not actually charged.

Then ...
2. When you are ready to capture the funds, go to your PayPal account and capture the order so that funds get transferred to you.

I took a look in the paypal module and I can not find any way to make that selection.

If you're using Express Checkout, set 'Payment Action' to 'Auth Only'. Not sure how to set this with IPN.
