Still no sorting luck.

So i'll be simple.

I want my category to be sorted by an order that i want, tried product sort order, it's not working.

I also want my "All Listing" to do the same, sort by the order number i give it, how can i do this?

Am i doing something wrong?

All Listing -> Display Product Display - Default Sort Order Value: 8
Product Listing -> Display Product Listing Default Sort Order Value: Blank

Assigned the products the order i want them in, 1-2-3-4, and so on.

I haven't been able to get the custom sort order regardless of any of the options i toggled.

OK here is what you want to do.
Example you have a catalog named Designed and another one name gallery.

You need to do this.
goto admin
Catlog menu > Categories/Products
on Designed folder click the e button (green e) Edit mode
Scroll down and look for Sort Order: place a number in the box
click on save.

You need to do the same thing for your products as well
Sort order will be at the bottom of the page.

Basically i want the items in the video library category in the sort order i give it. Any tips on how to get that done would be wonderful, thanks.

can you tell me how you listed your products that is how many catalog do you have and how many products are listed under each one.
