Date added will not show (or turn on to display)

Hey gang,

Quick question.
I trying to get the 'Date added' field to turn on under 'New Products'
When I select its location under the admin/configuation/new products, it doesn't display (neither does manufacturer, but that's not needed for me).
All the other fields are displaying and formatting just fine on my template (and I looked at the original template also to confirm I didn't delete something)

Is these some other place that it must be turned on globally first too?
I believe all my overrides are correct, but I'll confirm again.

What setting are you using for the:

Display Product Date Added
Do you want to display the Product Date Added?

0= off
1st digit Left or Right
2nd and 3rd digit Sort Order
4th digit number of breaks after

NOTE: default is 2601

That is kinda weird ...

What happens if you switch to Classic Template, does it work?

Have you an URL that we can peek at perhaps?

It does the exact same thing in the Classic template.
I'm going to keep comparing files, but do you know all the exact file names of the those associated with the new products page so I can check further?
I want to make sure that my overrides are correct

Out of curiosity ... your Featured Products are not show this either ... is it turned OFF in there?

If so, can you turn it on just to see if it displays?

Date added and Manufacturer both will not display in the Featured Products page also (!) Hmm. I'm really at a loss here. This really has me stumped.

They ARE also turned on for display in the All Products listing

Could you peek in your database at the products table and see what is in the products_date_added field?

Are you importing your products or adding them manually?

For fun ... what happens if you try to get the Date added to appear on the Product _info page via the Catalog ... Product Types ... EDIT LAYOUT ...

I have a structured import to add thousands of products at a time from exporting from Filemaker to csv files.
also, products_last_modified and products_date_available are all the same as above


(checking on the other solution you mentioned now)
