How to make an item Free in Group Pricing (Per Item)?

I have Group Pricing Per Item installed, and all is going well.

But I have a 5.00 product that I want to be free for all members of Group A.

I have it set up the same as my other products -- with 5.00 as the regular price, and 0.00 as Group A Price (Net) and Group A Price (Gross)

But the $5.00 is still showing up for the Group A customers.

I think it's interpreting the "0.00" as meaning there is no Group Price available for Group A, rather than it being Free, maybe?

Is there a way to fix this, so that Group A can have the price as free - truly 0.00?

I ran across a posting earlier tonight related to this that might help. I'm no expert because I am still trying to get this contribution installed.

Instead of entering 0.00 for the price, did you try leaving it blank? I saw a post where someone was trying to do the opposite of what you want and the problem was he/she left it blank and thought it would be the same as 0.00 but it kept listing as free.

To solve this problem in my web site, instead of "0.00" for the price, I entered "0.0001" and it has worked since then.
