Admin login problem

I went to log into my admin panel and i can not get in.
I have searched the forums and have done everything that was suggested to people.. i have done this http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=2
I also droped the admin table and did what was said in

I changed the email to my email and no password sent.. i have spent many hours on my site and would hate to have to redo it all becouse i can not get into the admin panel.. If i had to reinstall is there a way to back up everything and reinstall then reupload or something..
Please if anyone can help.

I have also found that they upgraded the php on the server to 5.2 would that make a diffrence ?
